FINE BLANKING & STAMPING
Our press shop operates three 320 Tonne and two 250 Tonne Fine Blank presses. We also operate several conventional presses up to 200 tonnes capacity. Work is done to customer order or schedule.

Thermal stress relief
Vibratory deburring
Belt grinding / linishing (for burr removal)
Component assembly
Finishing processes are subcontracted as required and coordinated from Dunedin (heat treating, corrosion protection, specialised packaging and delivery etc)
Contract toolmaking
Work performed includes the manufacture and servicing of fine blank and traditional sheet metal tooling, injection mould tooling, jigs, fixtures, gauges and general engineering work.
CNC machining: milling, EDM wirecut, deep hole drilling and production machining.
Manually operated machining: manual lathe and milling work, electro discharge spark eroder, jig grinder, cylindrical grinding, surface grinding and a Heinrich Schmid precision copy mill. Used for hard machining features on 60RC dieplates.

HEAT TREATING & WAREHOUSING
High volume heat treatment is undertaken at Metal Treatment Services in Melbourne. Other available processes include shot peening.
